The Flagship killer, OnePlus One is practically the first and the last Cyanogen Phone you'll ever see by OnePlus. Though everyone admired the magnificent combination, the companies at the end didn't. Cyanogen's co-founders at the Global Mobile Internet Conference in Beijing announced the end of the alliance with OnePlus.
Steve Kondik, co-founder of Cyanogen spoke -
"That’s probably the last you will see from that partnership.… Two new companies are trying to do crazy stuff, a lot of people collide."
The co-founders stated that the two companies had different goals and working together was no longer possible.
This tension of conflict aroused when Cyanogen with rival MicroMax in India launched the Yu which resulted in a ban on the one devices by the supreme court for a particular period of time.
Meanwhile OnePlus has also seen moving on with it without any regret. The Oxygen OS is their replacement to the CM.
Also, Microsoft is investing a lot in Cyanogen so it's pretty much it that the Cyanogen is looking for a bigger chunk in the phone market.
