Updated: 7th November 2013Nexus 5 has been a sensation in the markets due to its new catchy and responsive UI.
Nexus 5 has a great demand in the markets and it should be too for such a phone with such good features and specs.
All Android admirers would like to possess one but for those who can't and want the Nexus 5 interface on their devices and enjoy it so here are some simple steps to follow to get the Nexus 5 interface on any of your android phone may it be a small device or a high ranged model the Nexus 5 launcher supports all devices.
Features introduced:
1. Google Home (Nexus 5 Launcher)
2.Velvet (Google Search)
3.Google Play Services 4.0
4.Android Keyboard.
6. Chrome Beta.
Note : All the above mentioned features do not require Root Access so all the devices would support it.
Procedure :
1. Download all the .apk files.
2. Install all the .apk files.
3. Do not open any of the application after installing. (Click on done and install other .apk)
4. Reboot the device.
5. You will be booted in your Stock UI(Default UI of the device).
6. Click Home Button and select Launcher.
7. Enjoy Google Nexus experience.
Limitations :
1. Hangouts is now your native messaging app so some devices may not support it or it may take time for registration so the alternative messaging app I suggest would be Chomp SMS(Free Play Store Link)
OR
Go to Google folder select contacts and go the the contact and select message and your native messaging app.
(FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE ONLY IF HANGOUTS DOES'NT RESPOND)
2. The Nexus lockscreen isnt out yet so you would be guided to your stock lockscreen for the same.
3. Settings remain same as stock.
4. Status bar can be made Transperent but Nexus Notification bar isn't yet available.
5. Only two homescreens are allowed and the third is Google Now.

Google Search Force Close[FC] fix- Long press the home screen, select Settings. Select Voice. Select Language to change the default. Change to another language, I choose English – UK. Hit Home. Do a Google Search. Repeat the first three steps. Change back to English – US.[VIA-XDA]
