REVIEW: CyanogenMod 9 (Old but Gold)

CyanogenMod is Android operative system (also known as "OS") which is based on OpenSources by Google (AOSP). It has many more features than original AOSP ROM. It uses Ice Cream Sandwich for its base. ICS makes thing go faster, snappier in form of performance and power. ICS' Android version is 4.0.x and CM9 uses 4.0.4. ICS brings huge improvements. It is more usable than previous Android version. Now, it makes multitasking easier than ever!
So, lets move on to features. CM9 let you change everything. You can change Holo Color (originally Holo Blue) , notification bar shortcuts, battery bars and more! You must be asking yourself, how to install it? Piece of cake. Only thing: YOU MUST BE ROOTED.
1.Search XDA Dev for suitable ROM version
2. Download the .zip package on your SD
3. Enter the recovery mode and wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and wipe Dalvik cache.
4. Select: Install .zip from SD card.
5. Select: Choose .zip from SD card.
6. Find your downloaded file and install it
7. Wait for finish and Reboot!
Another thing,CyanogenMod is not supported by Google so you will have to find&flash supported Google Apps (Gapps) package. With flashing that, you will get proper Play Store and other Google Sync apps. The package will be installed in /system memory so make sure you have much.
The ROM is developed trough 2010. until 2012. Everything depends what device you use. Be carefull with flashing and installing.
CyanogenMod ROM will let you experience true power of Android!

AParted app!

Lacking of internal memory on your device and you are rooted? You came to right place because AParted can do everything for you. AParted is an app which easily makes, repairs, delete and change SD card partitions. It is really useful to make an SD-ext partition to expand internal memory. It is recommended to make an SD-ext up to 2GB. Also, when you put a reverse-mount script like 40INT2EXT you can get up to 2GB of internal memory. It works for my little Pico. Application is free on Play Store and it is really lightweight. It installs required elements like BUSYBOX and other scripts for changing and managing SD card. Carefull with this, you can easily kill your SD card for ever. After applying changes, you can reboot your phone and mount a memory script. This app changes FAT,FAT32,NTFS,ext2,ext3,ext4. Also,ext4 is the fastest ext partition and it is used by everyone. Make sure you know what are you doing. The app is not adverb free.  Here is the link of the APP; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sylkat.AParted&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Daparted

SD cards and its storage

"Almost" every Android device uses Micro SD card. That is a little card which can be used to expand memory of device. SD stands for Secure Digital. Half of devices lacks of memory storage so they buy SD cards. Someone needs 2GB memory card and someone needs 128GB memory card! Crazy, huh? Today, only HTC One M8 and Galaxy S5 supports 128GB SD card while my HTC Explorer can handle up to 32GB. Thats enough for me. When you are buying SD card, make sure your device can handle such "big" memory expanding. Also, watch out for such called (classes).
Class is kind of rank of SD card. You got class 1,2,4,6,8 and class 10 SDs. Also, the bigger number means better quality. Of course, class 10 is the best one out there. Currently,I am using Class 10 16GB SD. It shines with its performance while opening the app which is previously stored on SD card. Difference is big between Class 4 and Class 10. Easily,I can say that SanDisk and Kingston are making best SD cards in the world. Mine SD is waterproof! Price of these SDs are not so big. For example,I bought SanDisk 16GB Class 10 SDXC I for 15$. Brand new! Also, price depends where are you buying. I bought it from official tech store in Zadar (Croatia). SD is not pricey. Make sure you choose the right one.
