REVIEW: CyanogenMod 9 (Old but Gold)

CyanogenMod is Android operative system (also known as "OS") which is based on OpenSources by Google (AOSP). It has many more features than original AOSP ROM. It uses Ice Cream Sandwich for its base. ICS makes thing go faster, snappier in form of performance and power. ICS' Android version is 4.0.x and CM9 uses 4.0.4. ICS brings huge improvements. It is more usable than previous Android version. Now, it makes multitasking easier than ever!
So, lets move on to features. CM9 let you change everything. You can change Holo Color (originally Holo Blue) , notification bar shortcuts, battery bars and more! You must be asking yourself, how to install it? Piece of cake. Only thing: YOU MUST BE ROOTED.
1.Search XDA Dev for suitable ROM version
2. Download the .zip package on your SD
3. Enter the recovery mode and wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and wipe Dalvik cache.
4. Select: Install .zip from SD card.
5. Select: Choose .zip from SD card.
6. Find your downloaded file and install it
7. Wait for finish and Reboot!
Another thing,CyanogenMod is not supported by Google so you will have to find&flash supported Google Apps (Gapps) package. With flashing that, you will get proper Play Store and other Google Sync apps. The package will be installed in /system memory so make sure you have much.
The ROM is developed trough 2010. until 2012. Everything depends what device you use. Be carefull with flashing and installing.
CyanogenMod ROM will let you experience true power of Android!
