[APP] Internet Speed Meter - Internet speeds directly visible from your status bar with this app!!

All of us know that the up and down data icons in the status bar don't tell us the speeds of data transfer and just indicate that data transfer is taking place. So you get no idea about how much data is going in and out of your device as even if the speed is 1 Kbps or 1 Mbps you  just get the same data icon. So this makes it difficult to quickly recognize a slow connection or a fast one. But now, there's an app named Internet Speed Meter which monitors your data speed and shows it in your status bar. Note : These are real - time stats which update every second unlike other data usage monitoring apps which check usage of data every 30 seconds or 1 minute. Also this app keeps a track of the data usage of the whole day and also logs it for thirty days. Plus, there are separate meters in the status bar for uploading and downloading speeds (You have to enable that feature from the settings). This high purpose utility app is avaliable for phones with Android 2.3+. Also the app shows separate overall usage meters for Data and WiFi connections. So this becomes a very handy app for users with limited data plans. The app is battery efficient and uses minimal RAM. The app is available in two versions -

2. Pro version (Paid)
The difference between the two versions is that the paid version offers a bit of customization that the lite version doesn't offer.
Note : If you use any apps for sharing files using WiFi, the Speed Meters will show that speed as well. So don't get shocked if you see high data transfer speeds in your status bar while sending or receiving files with such apps.
